How Much Does Web Design Cost in Dubai?
Short answer: Web design costs in Dubai range from modest for a simple brochure site to significant for a custom or e-commerce build. The price is driven by the number of pages, the depth of custom design and functionality, and whether you need features like online payments or bookings. The table below shows typical tiers so you can see where your project fits.
Web design in Dubai costs between AED 5,500 and AED 35,000 for a business website. A 5–10 page brochure site sits at the lower end, a custom build with integrations at the upper, and eCommerce starts around AED 12,000. Most projects take 6 to 10 weeks.
Typical pricing tiers
| Tier | Page count | Price band | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter brochure | 5–10 pages | AED 5,500–9,000 | 6–7 weeks |
| Business | 10–20 pages, custom sections | AED 9,000–18,000 | 7–9 weeks |
| Custom / eCommerce | 20+ pages or online store | AED 12,000–35,000 | 8–10 weeks |
What drives the price
Unique page templates
Thirty pages built from five templates costs far less than twelve individually designed pages. This is the factor most quotes hide.
Custom design vs theme
A theme customised to your brand is faster and cheaper. A design from scratch costs more and looks like nobody else.
eCommerce
Products, payments, shipping rules and VAT handling are substantial work beyond design.
Arabic (RTL)
Right-to-left is a layout rebuild, not translation — roughly 30–40% extra, and much cheaper decided at the start.
Does a more expensive site rank better?
No. Price and ranking are unrelated.
Ranking comes from
- Technical structure
- Page speed
- Content matching real searches
- Structured data and schema
An expensive site with no heading hierarchy and no schema will lose to a cheaper one that has both. A great deal of UAE web budget goes into beautiful sites that were never built to be found.
What to avoid
⚠️ AED 1,500 websites
Templates with a logo dropped in — slow, unrankable and not extensible.
⚠️ "Free" sites bundled with hosting
They are not yours. Leaving means starting over.
⚠️ Unclear ownership
Any quote that does not say who owns the code and domain. Get it in writing. It should be you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I own the source code?
Yes. On final payment the code and assets transfer to you, in your own repository.
Are prices VAT inclusive?
All prices are in AED and are the final amount. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added on top. If that changes we will republish these pages with the VAT-inclusive figures rather than adding it at invoice.
Do you charge in stages?
Yes, tied to milestones rather than dates: on signing, on design approval, at the halfway build review, and on launch. You are never paying for work that has not been shown to you.
What if the app needs changes mid-build?
Small changes are absorbed. Anything that alters scope materially is quoted separately before work starts — you always know before it costs you.
Can you take over an app someone else built?
Usually. We audit the code first. Sometimes rebuilding is cheaper than continuing, and we will say so plainly.
How much does it cost to update an existing app?
Depends entirely on the existing code quality. The audit tells us, and it is a fixed fee.
