Law firm SEO in Miami, where the volumes undershoot

Miami's legal search market is 12,450 searches a month across eight practice areas, measured 3 August 2026 — under a quarter of New York's. Seven of its eight click prices sit in the top half of the twenty cities we hold. Every term measured is English, which matters here.

What does Miami's legal search market actually look like?

Small by volume, expensive by click, and lopsided between the two.

Volumes and click prices measured 3 August 2026 from Google Ads monthly volume and cost-per-click. The rank column is an ordering of the rows we already hold, not a separate measurement. Criminal defense appears for 17 cities in the dataset and business for 19, so those two rows are ranked against a smaller field. The dataset treats family and divorce as one category, so the top row covers both.

Adding the eight gives 12,450 searches a month, which is arithmetic on the rows above. New York totals 54,190 on the same measurement. Miami is a smaller search market than a first-time buyer expects, and a dearer one.

Why does Miami price like a large market and size like a small one?

Because the auction and the volume figure are not measuring the same thing.

Take the sharpest row. A Miami personal injury click costs $113.74 and a Houston one $114.87 — a difference of $1.13 — while Houston records 22,200 searches a month against Miami's 2,400. That is roughly nine times the market at the same price per click, by division on the two measured pairs. Advertisers in Miami are paying a big-market rate into a market the volume data calls small.

The business row says the same thing louder. At $37.61 a click Miami is second of the nineteen cities we hold for that category, behind only Charlotte, on 590 searches a month. Advertisers do not bid that way against demand they cannot see, and that sentence is a reading of the auction rather than something we measured.

Which Miami figure would we not defend?

The immigration row, and we would rather say so on the page than be asked about it later.

Miami records 1,600 immigration searches a month at $13.07, which puts it joint fourteenth of twenty cities by volume and tenth by price. Nashville records 2,400 on the same measurement. Boston records 1,900. Anyone who knows what immigration practice in this city looks like will read those three numbers and stop trusting the dataset, and they would be right to.

Here is the reason, and it is a limitation of our own work rather than a subtlety about Miami. Every top term in the dataset is Englishimmigration attorney miami, divorce attorney miami, business attorney miami. We did not measure Spanish-language queries in any city, so a market where a large share of the searching happens in another language is recorded only by the part of it that happens in ours. The error runs one way: for Miami, the volumes we publish are a floor rather than an estimate.

We are not going to correct them. Correcting a figure we did not measure by a factor we also did not measure would produce a number nobody can check, which is the one thing this whole exercise exists to avoid.

What does a second language actually cost in a build?

Pages. Not a widget in the corner of the screen.

The version most firms are shown is a translation dropdown that rewrites the visible text on the same address. That is a display feature. Search engines index addresses, so a page that changes language without changing address is one page that sometimes looks like another, and the second language never becomes a document that can be found.

What the work actually is, in order:

  1. A separate address for every page in the second language, so each one exists as a document in its own right rather than as a state of another document.
  2. Writing, not swapping. A translated sentence answers the English question in Spanish. The page has to answer the question the second-language client would actually type, which is a writing job for somebody who works in that language.
  3. Its own title and its own answer block, because those are what an answer engine lifts, and lifting a machine-swapped sentence produces a machine-swapped answer.
  4. Language and region markup joining each pair, so the two versions are read as alternatives rather than as duplicates of each other.
  5. Intake that matches. A page in Spanish that routes to a phone answered only in English fails at the point it succeeds.

The admission this section rests on: we hold no Spanish-language search figures at all, for Miami or anywhere. So we will not tell a firm how large that market is, will not project what a second-language build returns, and would not sell one on our data. What we can do is build the pages properly if a firm has its own reason to want them — and a firm's own inquiry log is a better reason than any number we could produce.

Which suppliers should a Miami shortlist compare?

Four we read in full, and the single field we recorded about each.

Of 40 legal-marketing suppliers read in full on 3 August 2026, 12 published a price at all, 5 showed only a "from" range, 8 claimed a guarantee, and 1 offered work with no minimum term. We recorded whether a figure was visible on the page and nothing further. We will not publish what any of them charges — the tooling picked up case values and fragments alongside genuine fees, and a wrong number against a named business is not worth the risk. Nothing here speaks to the quality of their work, which we did not examine.

Where one of them is the better call than us: a firm that wants Spanish-language work built by people who write in Spanish should hire people who write in Spanish. We do not, and no amount of process makes that difference disappear.

What does this cost, and why never per inquiry?

$1,450 for the Practice Sprint and $2,900 for the build. Fixed, published, no minimum term.

The price is the same in Miami as anywhere else, because the work is the same work. We never charge per inquiry, per case or per matter. We charge for the work by scope and time. Lawyer advertising in the United States runs through ABA Model Rule 7.2(b), adopted differently by each state, and how it applies to a particular firm is a question for that firm and its own advisers.

We also cannot promise a ranking, and neither can anybody else. Eight of the 40 suppliers we read on 3 August 2026 claimed a guarantee of some kind; nobody controls the auction or the algorithm.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the legal search market in Miami?

12,450 searches a month across eight practice areas, measured 3 August 2026, which is under a quarter of New York's 54,190 on the same measurement.

Why are Miami click prices high when the volumes are low?

A Miami personal injury click costs $113.74 against Houston's $114.87 while Houston records nine times the volume, so advertisers are paying a large-market rate into a market the volume data records as small.

Is the Miami immigration figure reliable?

No, and we say so on the page: 1,600 searches a month puts Miami below Nashville and Boston, which is implausible, and the likely reason is that every term we measured is in English.

Do you have Spanish-language search volumes?

No. We hold none for Miami or any other city, so we will not size that market, project a return on it, or sell a second-language build on our figures.

Is a translation widget enough for a Spanish-speaking audience?

No. A widget rewrites text at the same address, and search engines index addresses, so the second language never becomes a document that can be found or cited.

Which Miami practice area has the most search demand?

Family and divorce at 2,900 searches a month, ahead of personal injury at 2,400, both measured 3 August 2026, with the dataset treating family and divorce as one category.

What does law firm SEO cost in Miami?

$1,450 for the Practice Sprint and $2,900 for the build, fixed and published with no minimum term, and the same figures anywhere else in the United States.
